Joint Convention of Religious Heads
*Joint convention of religious heads-*
Let us imagine that after about three thousand years there will be a powerful king, also a Vedic scholar will convene a meeting of various religious heads of the world. He asked them to briefly describe the superior features of their respective religions. Each one spoke as mentioned below.
1. Hindu Saint -Witchcraft, Purans, Avataar, Idolatory, Mahakaal worship, Planet worship, Shiva phallus worship, Pilgrimage etc. are the practices which lead to liberation. Hindu religion alone is pre historic. Even Yamaraj, the god of death, is afraid of our sacred forehead marks. Welfare and deliverance of all lies in the worship of idols of our deities.
2. Vedanti Saint- We are the visible manifestations of God. The world is an illusion. Shedding the existential perception of a living being leads to salvation. The living soul is a fragment of God and our Advait ideology is the true ideology. All other ideological sects are afflicted by ignorance and delusion.
3. Jain & Buddh saints- All religious sects not subscribing to Jain and Buddhist ideology are fake. There is no eternal God who created this world. The world is unchangeable and will ever remain so. Liberation lies in worshipping our twenty four Tirthankaras and Buddha etc. through the medium of their idols.
4. Christian Saint ie Bishop- Without faith in Jesus, Yishu or Jehova, none can attain purity and get liberated. Jesus, Yishu have demonstrated their kindness by sacrificing their lives for the penance of all. Our God loves in fourth layer of space. O royal human, to free yourself of all affliction, be our follower.
5. Muslim Saint ie Maulvi- None can be free of sorrow without belief in Allah, his prophet Mohammed and Quransharif. Our Allah lives in seventh layer of space. He, who doesn't accept this religion is kafir and is condemned to be punished or killed.
6. Sikh Saint- Bearing Kesha ie long unshaven hair, Kangan ie a big iron ring worn on turbans, Kara ie an iron bangle worn on the wrist, Kachha ie a kind of underbear ,Kirpan ie a double -edged knife ,Kangha ie a comb for dressing the hair, worshipping our holy book ie Guru Granth Sahib, taking bath in holy water of Golden temple at Amritsar, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji I our supreme teacher ie waheguru, intake of alcohol and meat not forbidden. following the teachings of our Shri Guru Granth Sahib leads to salvation.
In a similar way, followers of Kabir, Dadu, Paltu, Radhaswami, Nirankari, Shaiv, Vaishnav, Brahmkumari etc praised their respective sects. On hearing this, the King realised that all of them were trying to sell their faiths like skilled shopkeepers selling their wares. The King asked them all whether non violence, truthfulness, honesty, helping the needy, self control, seeing God in every particle of nature, following the call of conscience and promoting the purity of environment constitute true, eternal religion or not ?
All replied in one voice that all these were elements of true religion. The King then asked them why they had made so many different religions ?
To this, they replied that if they preached true religion, they will lose their individual importance.
On hearing this reply, the King rebuked all the religious heads for the crime of misleading his subjects. The king told all those religious heads that Vedas are true scriptures revealed by God Himself in the beginning of Universe.Vedas advise all intellectuals to spread the Vedic knowledge and spiritual experiences among all human beings, refutate all wrong things being spread in name of religion and worship Him alone. According to Vedas God is existent, Blissful. Formless, Omnipotent,Just, Merciful, Unborn, Endless, Unchangeable,Beginningless, Uncomparale, Support of all, Master of all, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Unageing, Immortal, Fearless, Eternal, Holy, and Maker of all. He alone is worthy of being worshipped. Animal sacrifice and idol worship is sin.
The King put all his energy in spreading the teachings of the universal one Vedic religion. He ordered temple, mosque, church and all other places of worship to be converted to centers of vedic education. He re-established the ancient gurukul system of education. He advised all that education actuates ascent of knowledge, civility, culture, righteousness , austere and eliminates vices like ignorance, nescience, deceit, infidelity , depravity etc.The aim of education should not be limited to employment alone. The use of education can be meaningful and important for the society and country only when the passion and fearlessness can be created through education to eliminate the evils prevalent in the society and to correct the wrong. The king also re-established the original name of our country ie Aryavart.
